OUR HISTORY
Fundraising was never meant to be ordinary

Tugboats & Dolphins began in 2021, when a lockdown WhatsApp group and a few cold-water swims grew into something much bigger.
What started as friends taking on challenges together soon became a way to raise money, bring people together and make a genuine difference.

Since then, we’ve raised more than £80,000 for charity through endurance challenges, community events, sports festivals, fight nights and more than a few wild ideas along the way.

Our purpose is simple: to inspire people, support brilliant causes and prove that making a difference can be meaningful, memorable and a lot of fun.
We turn ambitious ideas into events that people want to take part in, businesses want to support and communities remember.
Mike ‘Dunzo’ Dunn – Founder & Director
Mike is the founder of Tugboats & Dolphins, turning a lockdown WhatsApp group and a few cold-water swims into a charity fundraising movement.
​
A serving Royal Marine with 13 years of service, he’s since led some of our biggest adventures, including cycling to Spain and Budapest, alongside countless endurance challenges and more ambitious ideas than most sensible people would entertain.
​
He brings leadership, meticulous planning, relentless enthusiasm and a surprisingly intense passion for washing dishes.
​
Oh, and the moustache deserves its own postcode.

Tandi –
The Queen
Tandi has been part of Tugboats & Dolphins from the beginning and is the creative force behind the brand, managing everything from social media and design to capturing the stories behind our events.
​
While the boys dream up increasingly ridiculous challenges, she keeps their feet on the ground and somehow turns the chaos into content.
​
A BJJ enthusiast and producer of some truly baffling noises, Tandi proudly holds the title of the team’s weirdest human. More importantly, she’s the glue that holds it all together.
Behind every ambitious challenge is a team willing to plan it, promote it and occasionally question whose idea it was in the first place.
Jordan Kelevra –
Director
Jordan joined Tugboats & Dolphins over three years ago, drawn in by a shared passion for supporting good causes through increasingly questionable physical challenges.
​
A military veteran, project manager and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitor, he brings organisation, determination and controlled chaos to events, sponsorships, logistics and fundraising.
​
If an idea sounds wild, weird or impossible, Jord is probably already planning it.
​
Fuelled by Guinness and an inability to sit still, he’s best described as a budget Aquaman.
